Mosaic LGBT Youth Centre focuses on supporting, educating and inspiring you as an LGBT person. As LGBT people, we get that sometimes you may face challenges, difficulties or encounter experiences that are unique to us.

We use our own knowledge and lived experience to create the best possible environment for you to grow, be yourself, and have fun.

They are the national LGBTQ+ youth homelessness charity; focused on prevention and early action they provide: safe homes, mentoring, training, advocacy and support to young people who are homeless or living in a hostile environment after coming out to their parents, caregivers and peers.

Antidote by London Friend

They offer harm-reduction information and provide face-to-face support to help you make informed choices about your drug or alcohol use. They can work with you whether you want to stop completely, or achieve greater control over your use.

Switchboard LGBT+ Helpline

Welcome to Switchboard – the LGBT+ helpline – a place for calm words when you need them most. We’re here to help you with whatever you want to talk about. Nothing is off limits, and we understand how anxious you might feel before you pick up the phone. The majority of those who call are LGBT+, however, we also welcome friends, parents or family members of LGBT+ loved ones who are looking for some independent advice and support – everyone is welcome.

Mermaids

Mermaids is passionate about supporting children, young people, and their families to achieve a happier life in the face of great adversity. They work to raise awareness about gender nonconformity in children and young people amongst professionals and the general public. They campaign for the recognition of gender dysphoria in young people and call for improvements in professional services.

If you’ve experienced hate crime, sexual violence or domestic abuse, they’re here for you. They also support lesbian, gay, bi, trans and queer people who have had problems with the police or have questions about the criminal justice system.
