I have been involved in youth work since 2006; in tiny rural youth centres in the middle of nowhere to large youth services in central london. I've run open access youth centres, youth voice projects, peer education and apprenticeship programmes, safeguarding education schemes and art and music programmes. My youth work adventures have led me to marches, found me doing all-night charity sleepovers on the streets of London, creating music albums with young people from other countries, and I've travelled the world by land, foot, rail and boat. Good youth services make spaces that feel like weird little families. Mosaic is one of those spaces; what a privilege to be a trustee!

 

My most recent role is with Girlguiding, where I am the Head of Girl Experience. I manage a department responsible for the youth programmes within the organisation.

I started as a Trustee for Mosaic in 2018, and completed a 5 year term with the charity. After a little break, I came back to the role in 2025. The charity has gone from strength to strength, and it's wonderful to work with it again. As a queer, pansexual woman, I really want to give my time to a service that I know can provide support, opportunity and respite to young LGBT+ people.

 

In my spare time you'll find me on or in water, crafting book nooks, camping or going to festivals, and doting over my french bulldog, Lemon.
