Trustee

Hello! I’m Holly. I have worked in fundraising for higher education for the past six years, currently as the Legacy Manager for the Royal Academy of Music and prior to that at the University of Cambridge. I believe in the power of education and the arts, and am passionate about their accessibility. I am also acutely aware of the need for any curriculum to be inclusive, intersectional, and to interrogate why certain voices have historically been amplified and valued.

Prior to my career in fundraising, I studied English Literature, Music, and Creative Writing (primarily poetry). I see creative expression and communication as at the core of both music and poetry, and am proud to be involved with an organisation that seeks to empower and amplify the voices of young LGBT+ people. I continue to write poetry (when the muse strikes!), and enjoy going to poetry readings, concerts, art exhibitions, and the theatre in my free time. I love that Mosaic hosts a Culture Club, and that the young persons Mosaic supports get to learn about LGBT+ culture through these trips, and to see themselves and their stories reflected.

Alongside my passion for LGBT+ rights and my interest in the arts, I love long country walks with my partner, a good podcast, getting distracted by the small wonders of the world (look, a butterfly!), and sampling every decaf oat milk cappuccino in London. I look forward to playing my part in Mosaic's mission to ensure every LGBT+ young person feels proud, empowered, and inspired. I wholeheartedly believe this is urgent and life-saving work.
