As part of their work to end hate crime in the UK the Community Alliance To Combat Hate (CATCH) Partnership this year piloted Together Against Hate 2020, a training programme for organisations working with communities experiencing hate crime.
We participated in the programme in an effort to help improve the outcomes for LGBT+ young persons that we support who may be the victim of LGBT+phobia, hate crimes and hate incidents.
Pronouns Matter
Mosaic partnered with Hidayah and Micro Rainbow to produce the ‘Pronouns Matter’ campaign across Instagram, Facebook, Linkedin, and Twitter. The main objective was to usualise people using their pronouns in introductions to help create safer spacer for trans, non-binary, gender non-conforming persons and to raise awareness of the experiences of these persons
In addition to this, we used the campaign to promote the work that each of our organisations does to support trans, non-binary, gender non-conforming persons as well as to share resources promoting inclusivity and celebration of these identities.
