Training Packages

We offer a number of Training Packages to share our knowledge and help you create a safe and inclusive environment for young LGBT+ persons.

The sessions we offer are listed below, and all training is delivered by our executive director, Lukasz Konieczka. Lukasz is a trained social worker, psychologist and youth worker with fifteen years of experience working with young LGBT+ persons. He co-founded Mosiac LGBT+ Young Persons’ Trust in 2016.

‘Curating a culture of Belonging for young LGBT+ persons’ LEVEL 1

Aims and Objectives:

To understand sexuality and gender in an intersectional context.

To understand issues affecting young LGBT+ persons, including safeguarding concerns.

To be able to challenge LGBT+ oppressive attitudes, behaviours and language effectively.

‘Managing a culture of Belonging for young LGBT+ persons’ LEVEL 2

Duration:

half day

Aims and Objectives:

To be able to design inclusive policies and embed practices.

To recognise and take action on safeguarding concerns specific to young LGBT+ persons.

To be able to respond to oppressive attitudes of colleagues.

To be able to navigate the transition and other support needs of young LGBT+ persons.
