Mosaic’s residentials provide you with an opportunity to get away from the hustle and bustle of your daily routine, as well as to join an accepting, friendly and fun LGBT+ community. You will have the chance to make friends, enjoy great activities, soak up the atmosphere, and learn valuable skills.

 

Each trip is different and unique, meticulously planned by our friendly LGBT+ mentors who are here to support you throughout the journey. You don’t have to be a member of Mosaic to participate, as every trip is open to all young LGBT+ persons from across the UK and beyond! Usually, 50% of the participants are from Mosaic and 50% from outside, so there is no need to feel awkward.

All retreats are delivered in buildings hired exclusively for our use with gender-neutral facilities so that you can feel safe and relaxed.
 

All accommodation is in mixed dorm rooms divided by age.

 

All participants must join us at the departure point in London, King’s Cross. 

Upcoming Residentials

 

• Our Winter Retreat for 12-18 year olds will take place in Brighton over the February half-term break, 16th - 18th February 2026. Register for this trip by clicking the button below!
• Our Summer Camp for 12-18 year olds will take place in Snowdonia, Wales from 27th July-3rd August 2025. Registrations for this trip are now closed.
• Our Young Adults Group trip to the Pride Youth Games in Glasgow and Largs, Scotland, from 7th - 11th August 2025. All places for this trip are currently filled.

FAQs

 

What does it cost?

Winter Retreat costs £377, Summer Camp cost £477 and Pride Youth Games cost £177, but we do offer some subsidised places, so if you cannot afford the cost, let us know in an application form. Mosaic makes sure that money should never stop you from joining.

 

Do I need my parents' permission?

If you are aged 18, you will not require parent or guardian consent.

 

If you’re aged 17 or under, we’ll need your parent or guardian to consent to you joining.

 

Who is it open to?

Residentials are open to all LGBT+ persons, no matter where you live. We even have participants joining us from abroad! It all adds to the beautiful - mosaic of experiences. The only restriction is age. Winter Retreat and Summer Camp are exclusively for those aged 12 - 18. Pride Youth Games for those aged 16 - 25.
